Cherry and Walnut Slab Stand

Made from a single 2" thick Cherry live edge slab, accented with Walnut dovetail keys for stabilization of the cracks. The case of the pieces is made from a dovetailed Cherry shell and shelf, with Walnut dividers. The shelf and dividers are secured with Dado joints. Shelf is constructed of an all wood joint layout for strength and beauty.

The base is made from solid Walnut and is reinforced with traditional mortise and tenon joints. Drawing from a Mid-Century design style, the base compliments and completes this Mid-Century Modern piece.
